So, I’m in Florida and we had some heavy rains recently. This changed the water chemistry and, more importantly, I lost a lot of salt due to overflow drain off.I didn’t realize the salt was low (about 2300 ppm, should be 3200-3800 ppm or so). After a couple of days away, I came back to a very green pool. It looked like watered-down pea soup. I got the salt back up to proper levels (3 bags) and added this algaecide (about 6 oz). I also brushed the pool walls and the water was pretty murky.I ran the pump 24 hrs/day (usually just 8) on the superchlorinate mode. The green faded, I washed out the filter (it catches dead algae), and by day 3 the water was crystal clear, pool was nice and blue, everything was balanced.I was amazed at how quickly this product cleared up a very green pool. There are different algaecide with different active ingredients, and I’ve tried a few, but this one was by far the quickest and most effective. Highly recommended.
